Experienced University Executives Join Anthony Travel
Brummell and Wurzberger join team to expand technology and event services.
DALLAS — Anthony Travel has announced the appointment of Craig Brummell as Senior Vice President and Leslie Wurzberger as Vice President of Event Services. The additions to the leadership team will build upon Anthony Travel’s leading position in the university and sports travel management industry and further drive the company’s commitment to helping people experience and enjoy the world.

Initially, Brummell will focus his efforts on event services, operations and technology enhancements in the organization’s Dallas office as well as having critical involvement in Anthony Travel strategic initiatives, like online booking tools. Brummell brings more than 20 years of knowledge and experience in the fields of information technology and organizational growth to Anthony Travel. Most recently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Deputy CIO in the Office of Information Technology at the University of Notre Dame, Brummell instituted technology strategies to enhance the teaching, learning and administrative practices of the University.

As Vice President of Event Services, Wurzberger is primed to oversee travel and event offerings for teams, fans and individuals at domestic and international sporting events. In addition, she will direct ongoing efforts regarding the 2012 Emerald Isle Classic between Notre Dame and Navy in Ireland. Wurzberger joins Anthony Travel with 17 years of sports administration experience from the University of Washington. While at Washington, she served as the Associate Athletic Director of Marketing, managing revenue generation, branding, budgeting, contract negotiations, licensing, event planning and university and community relations.
